Bio:

Jamnan never dreamed that he would ever feel freedom in his lifetime. When he was very young his village was raided by Orc’s, his parents killed, and him taken captive as a slave. For 10 long years he was badly mistreated as a slave to the Orc tribe ruled by Stonetooth in the Galena Mountains just north of the moonsea. His freedom came in his 10th summer as a party of humans lead by the Mulmasters of Hulburg came in and crushed Stonetooth’s orc tribe. Jamnan was frightened at first of these humans and hid from them when they searched for captives. He being different from them did not think he could trust them.
So as they set out back to Hulburg Jamnan followed but always at a distance as to not get caught. But as the trip grew longer he needed food so one night he crept into their camp for food. He was quickly caught and brought before Geran Hulmaster. After hearing Jamnan’s story Geran took pity on him and spared his life and offered him a future. Geran saw potential in him to follow in his footsteps and become a swordmage.
Jamnan being only 15 and having no where else to go gladly accepted. For the next 10 years Jamnan studied under Geran and during this time he learned that he was not the first tiefling that Geran knew. There was one other that Geran had fought alongside with, by the name of Sarth. He had left many years ago looking for answers and had not returned since.
When Jamnan turned 25 he decided that now was the time for him to start forging his own future, one that he felt he could control. Geran was sad to see him go but understood the urge all to well as he himself had done the exact same thing when he was nearly the same age.
In the years to come Jamnan would be challenged, first by learning that his Lord was Bei’thor. He found through much research that when a tiefling is born their soul is bought by the devils and when they grow up they are supposed to do the will of their Lord. Upon finding this out Jamnan refused and turned his back on his Lord and will stop at nothing to help people who are afflicted by his Lord.
This has brought Jamnan more than his fair share of sorrows though. While helping a town that came under attack by a sorcerer serving Bei’thor, he became cursed with the Crimson Curse. Now Jamnan must constantly wear at least 1 red item and kill a criminal every 30 days least he wishes to bleed from his skin. Because of this curse and his childhood slavery he is reserved and always wears a red cloak pulled low over his face. He fears going back to Hulburg and letting Geran see what has happened to him. He is constantly looking for information for the Sorcerer named Marfalcon. Jamnan believes that if he can kill this Marfalcon the curse put upon him will be lifted and he will be able to see his mentor and friend Geran again.

A quick description of Jamnan:
Unlike most Tieflings whose horns flow over the back of their heads, Jamnan’s spiral to the sides like a Rams. He believes this to be a sign to other tieflings of his slavery growing up. His skin is also a dark crimson in color almost black like and his eyes have a blue luminous to them. Jamnan’s eyes started out red with his transformation but have changed to a blue glow since the time he has defied his Lord Bei’thor and is now going against his will.
